Window Cleaning Price Calculator

Price residential window cleaning per pane. Count the panes, pick inside and out or exterior only, and add screens, upper floors and hard water treatment.

How the price is figured

  • Each pane is priced at your base rate plus any upper-floor surcharge.
  • The side setting scales the pane price for exterior-only or interior-only work.
  • Screens and hard water treatment are priced per item.
  • If the total falls under your minimum, the minimum applies.

Common questions

How much do window cleaners charge per pane?

Typical residential rates run about $4 to $8 per pane for inside and outside. Exterior-only service is usually priced lower, and French or divided-light windows are often priced per pane rather than per window.

Do I charge more for second-story windows?

Most window cleaners add $2 to $4 per pane above the ground floor to cover ladder work and the extra time it takes.

What about hard water stains?

Mineral deposits need extra product and scrubbing, so many cleaners add a few dollars per affected pane or quote it separately after seeing the glass.
